The Hugs & Co. collections for men and women feature classic silhouettes which remain elegant staples in your wardrobe every season.
The Story
The creators of the brand are brothers Benjie Davis and Hugo Davis. They share a background in fine art, design, architectural design, business and marketing which led to the inception of the premium British footwear brand Hugs & Co.
Hugs & Co. shoes are designed in London and manufactured in Portugal using carefully selected materials from Europe. The team works with highly skilled factories and artisan workers on the hand made elements of each product.
Sustainability
Hugs & Co. are committed to introducing sustainability to the luxury footwear market. This drove the development of the TS1 Driving loafer. In this product upcycled car tyre is combined with Italian leather to create the next generation of the driving loafer.
All the leathers used in Hugs & Co. products come from responsible suppliers. The materials chosen have been given the following accreditations and awards for their standards of production:
- The ICEC Environmental Management System, leathers produced in compliance with these standards.
- Der Blaue Engel, certificate for the ecological quality of the leathers.
- LWG Gold Rated, given for excellent ethical and environmental practice.
