Sustainable Fashion in The Times Newspaper
Sustainability journalist Jim McClelland chose to feature Hugs & Co. as part of his latest article in The Times detailing five pioneering companies who are recycling textiles in an effort to make more sustainable and environmentally friendly fashion items.
The TS1 driving loafer by Hugs & Co. features upcycled car tyre as the sole unit. This reclaimed material requires a fraction of the energy to convert into usable parts compared to new soles being produced. Other benefits include hugely increased durability and grip.
