If you are in London this week then remember you only have two weeks left to catch the Damien Hurst exhibition at the Tate Modern.

The exhibition covers Hurst's prominent influence on the art scene over the last 25 years. It is the first opportunity that the British public have had to look at a substantial collection of his work created over the full span of his much discussed career. Hurst's 2007 work 'For the love of God', the diamond covered scull, was on display in the famous turbine room but this has already finished.

Amongst the highlights still to be seen are the 1991 piece 'The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living', this one is of course the famous shark set in formaldehyde.

It's well worth a visit as Hurst's work can be looked at and enjoyed by anyone regardless of how long you have spent reading up on art. Even if you just want to see some quirky sights you're bound to leave this exhibition with something to talk about.
